Located in North Rim, this home is built into the hillside and takes advantage of some amazing views of the Cascades.  Steve Van Sant worked remotely with the homeowners, who were still living in California, to come up with a very livable design that would fit their lifestyle.  The home features a lot of outdoor living space that ranged from an Entry Courtyard with a bridge crossing a lively water feature, and much more. 

2014 - Caldera Springs

This home was designed by Spencer Williams for a wonderful couple as a second home to get them closer to their kids, and most importantly, their grandkids.  Since they were still living and working in Washington during the design and construction, emailing drawings and photos was key.

2013 - Tetherow

- $800,000-950,000
 This home won "Best Interior Finish" in the $800,000-950,000 category in the 2013 Central Oregon Builders Association Tour of Homes.  This 3,159 sq-ft 3-Bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home is one of Spencer Williams' designs in Tetherow.  The home picks up great mountain views from a window seat in the master bedroom as well as from a martini deck off of the guest bedroom above the garage and has golf course views on both sides of the home from almost every room.

2012 - Awbrey Butte

Our designer Steve Van Sant designed this home for a great local couple with a lot of fun times playing with Grandchildren in mind.  This home won "Best Architectural Design", "Best Landscaping" (Earth Designs), and "Best Feature" in the 2012 Central Oregon Builders Association Tour of Home.  

2011 - Caldera Springs

Caldera Springs is a popular place for vacation homes and this is a getaway for a family with children ranging widely in age.  The kids are housed upstairs with a Bunk Room with custom-built bunks and a large Play Room with enough space for games for all ages above the Garage to keep the adults blissfully ignorant of all of the commotion above.  An open floor plan with the Great Room, Dining, and Kitchen aligned allow for easy communication and connection in all of the public spaces. The Kitchen has an expansive eating bar that will fit all of the kids and two dishwashers to accommodate all of the dirty dishes.

2010 - Tetherow

Steve Van Sant worked with a fun, retired Arizona couple who both love to play golf and take make the most  of living right on the challenging course at Tetherow.  The home has views of numerous holes as well as the Cascades and takes full advantage with a large paver patio with a covered outdoor kitchen, a gas fire pit, and a hot tub in the rear and a great deck off of the Game Room on the front of the home above the Garage, which is also where the pool table, TV, and wet bar are located.

2009 - Caldera Springs

Nestled in the trees on one of the largest lots in Caldera Springs, Steve Van Sant designed this home to fit perfectly in it's surroundings.  Although the home is close to all of the ammenities Caldera Springs and Sunriver have to offer, this home feels like a retreat in the woods.  The open floor plan and spacious gourmet kitchen make this house very well suited to large family gatherings.  Kristy Yozamp worked closely with the homeowners to create the feel they were going for in each room down to the artwork on the walls.  This home won "Best of Show", "Best Architectural Design", "Best Kitchen", "Best Master Suite", "Best Interior Finish", and "Best Garage".                        

2007 - Tumalo

- $4,000,000 and up
This 5,764 sq ft Collins Road custom home designed by Steven Van Sant was tailored perfectly to fit the lives of the homeowners.  An outbuilding nearly as large as the house contains a showroom, full mechanic's shop for the homeowners race cars, as well as equipment and RV storage.  Attached to the shop by a breezeway are stables for their horses backing up to BLM property for riding.  No detail was overlooked inside the house and everythig was designed around the way they live and Kristy Yozamp made each space perfect for the intended users.  A 12' nano-wall connects the outdoor kitchen to the dining room to extend the living space out and bring the outdoor in.  This home won "Best of Show", "Best Value", "Best Front Facade", "Best Landscaping", "Best Kitchen", "Best Interior Design", "Best Master Suite", and "Best Garage".  Steve Van Sant was quoted on the design of this home: "It looks as though it grew there and we carved it out of the ground. It is truly meant to blend into the landscape, to be part of the environment."
